Petals scatter around on the floor

Two souls warm each other behind a locked door

That red night dress, and your cascading hair

The candles cast a faint light, love is in the air…

My hand traces from your shoulders then down your spine

And your silk dress dances in my hand, like a splash of wine

Oh that dress, makes you flow even more

And those braids just catch the candlelight’s glow

I get caught in your stare, you get trapped in my gaze

And those eyes, sending me a soft and smooth blaze

It’s like you breathe in air, then breathe out love

The smell of your skin just fills my lungs, but it’s still not enough

You rest your head on my shoulder, your braids scatter all over my chest

While my hands hold you smoothly around your chest

The stories we haven’t told each other in a while

The love we haven’t had begins to just pile

And my heart just pours out sweet emotions

And your words fill my ears with melody and sensation

And I feel like I want to love you a million ways

Because your heart fills my heart with the glorious days

And the night feels like daises, colourful, dancing with ease

And words take us on those trips we have missed

To the mountain tops, where emotions are so high in some seasons

To the ocean floors, where we are deep in passions 

I grab a camera, trying to capture the moment 

You hand me a pen and paper and say, “Capture it with words…

So that my heart will ever embrace your thoughts

And I will relive this night in your quotes

The night where we are lost in emotions but captured in your pen”
