DISQUALIFYING OURSELVES (SIMPLICITY 2) BY PASTOR GREG ELKAN.

The Salvation miracle is by far the greatest of all miracles. The concept of Salvation is so deep and profound that it takes us the rest of our life to fathom its implications. Actually, no Believer today fully understood the multifaceted, multi-layered mystery of salvation at the time of their conversion.

But did that limited knowledge stop them from getting saved? Of course not. Does any real preacher you can’t be saved until you fully comprehend the spiritual, theological and soteriologic truths behind the Cross? Again, No! We were all ignorant of these things back then, yet we still got saved.

So how is it then, that when it comes to other areas of our life, we believe God will not intervene unless we know ALL the principles involved?

Check out the typical teachings we feed on repeatedly ourselves:
_“12 Steps To Your Healing”_
_“5 Things You Must Do To Receive Your Miracle”_
_“7 Irrefutable Keys To Divine Prosperity”_
_“8 Reasons Why Your Faith Will Not Work”_
ETC.

While step-by-step theology has its place, bombarding ourselves with so many “steps”, can make us inadvertently barricade ourselves into a self-imposed classroom, where we remain unqualified of any of God’s blessings because we have not ‘graduated’ yet.

Theology should not make receiving from God look like a complex process. The people who received from God in scriptures did not follow some convoluted, sophisticated regimen to obtain their miracles. Most of the time, all they acted on, was just simple Faith.

_“Ask”,_ Jesus says, _“and you shall receive,”_ (Mt 7:7). If it sounds too simple, remember that simplicity is God’s way of making His bounties accessible to all.
AMEN.
GREG ELKAN.
More Blessings await you today; you’ll not miss them in Jesus’ Name.
