DUET: 'POLITICAL BED' BY AJAKAYE STRIDA AND ZENITH CHERUB.

AJAKAYE:
A woman of runaway night,
Ain't ready for the strenuous spinal aches of e Ilubo ologede,
my mother did so long ago,
and so I am fired by career.
Father of my children, let my long nails be.
Nannies are for the brown kitchen...

ZENITH:
My heart aches
and my bones crack
as you roll out of bed,
with no reason.
Can't let your long nails be,
cause it's piercing my heart,
come to bed
and sing me a lullaby.
Give me that pet touch,
that lulls me to sleep.

AJAKAYE:
Last night after the romantic pap in my funnel,
I bore one and pleaded a family planning,
Yet you refused,
now my angels gaze like I am devilish a mother.
No..... !!!
Projects at the road of Maryland,
events at Ibadan
and a meeting at Abuja.
I have chosen my life,
and when men breastfeed, it is called Support.

ZENITH:
When you pleaded for birth control,
I came across a verse in my scripture,
"Two are better than one."
Our angels await your investment,
my breast milk is too small
to quench their thirst.
My voice is too thick to lull them to sleep,
here lies our future,
let us give them reasons to live,
come to bed baby.
