INSPIRATIONAL: "THE WINGS OF UNSHAKEN FRIENDSHIP" BY SOMDATTA MITRA

Her smile is the heartbeat of spring,
Her benignity and care resemble a flower reopening after the rain.
My friend is a spring, embracing me like a sleeping garden every day,
While hope gently holds her hand, leading her towards the dawn of healing.

In this peaceful struggle, we stand together, understanding each other's pain and suffering,
Refusing to surrender to the verdict of fate,
while gently cosseting each other's tender emotions.

In our whispering resilience, we became twin stars, illuminating each other's darkest nights.
We know we cannot bear each other's suffering,
 nor heal every wound.
Yet we can always be the wings ,
that carry each other's prayers to heaven.

As we share more of our agonies and frustrations,
Tomorrow smiles through the window of our dreams.
We cherish those dreams to make our friendship blossom,
Like a lotus rising above troubled waters.

In every single conversation, we are a quiet victory within ourselves,
Embracing every sorrow with the luminous strength of our souls.
She, the caregiver, though burdened by illness herself,
Still cradled me with her unwavering spirit,
While dawn whispered promises of recovery.

I want her to recover completely,
leaving her wheelchair behind to embrace eternal freedom.
I want her to behold the beatitude ,
hidden within life's simplest joys.

I wish her a future like a bird rediscovering its wings,
As though she were a phoenix rising from the ashes of suffering.
Her glory is my deepest aspiration;
Her well-being is my harbour of peace.
