DIDACTIC: "THE ETHOS OF A TRUE LEADER" BY SOMDATTA MITRA
A true leader is the parliament of wisdom,
Whose knowledge unlocks sleeping continents.
Whose conscience holds the nation's pulse,
Honesty and compassion becoming a sacred responsibility.
Building a country upon the arithmetic of justice,
With care , enlightenment and proper discernment .
In a democratic nation where lanterns are stitched from knowledge,
And education chisels the face of destiny.
A leader derives the compass of conscience, from education's eternal forge.
Guiding the nation like Polaris leading lost voyagers,
through an uncharted night.
In constitutional amendments where probity becomes the nation's covenant,
And fiduciary trust wears the verisimilitude of justice.
A leader is the vineyard of public trust,
Standing steadfast like a lighthouse against the tempests of discord.
The inheritance of awakened minds salutes such a soul,
Where compassion outvotes prejudice.
And humanity becomes the nation's enduring constitution,
Bringing a family into a united diversity of solidarity.
A democratic form of government, ever enlightens the citizen's rights ,
And safeguards their welfare with inviolable equity.
A true leader is the architect of their collective horizon,
Building the nation with steadfast resolve,
Like a river patiently sculpting barren valleys into landscapes of hope.
Where every enlightened citizen becomes a cornerstone of democracy,
And every righteous deed engraves another verse
Upon the republic's everlasting manuscript.
