Life takes a turn in the midst of joy,
Yet sadness flows in like a river.
It streams through the heart of a woman,
But she never, ever gives up.
Her voice stands strong,
Like the wind moving over the waters.
Her strength remains unshaken,
Even in the midst of sorrow.
Her boldness and her tears are silent.
She carries wounds that no one sees.
She bleeds within, yet smiles brightly
For the sake of her children.
She guides her children
And shapes the course of their lives.
On this Mother’s Day, this is my prayer:
May every mother’s joy overflow without bounds.
May you never shed tears because of your children.
May you live long to eat the fruits of your labor.
May God Almighty, in His mercy, elevate you abundantly.
To all responsible and loving mothers,
