DIDACTIC: "I PAINT SMILES" BY SOMDATTA MITRA
I'm a painter of flowers,
Nitpicking in my own world I draw pictures.
The smiles that bloom and change the spirits,
As fresh as a daisy and as bright as the moon triggers.
The lost faith that fallowed frightened facts,
Life changed the perspectives to sow new seeds.
There my colours transformed the minds,
To colour the voids with new innovations.
A picture is worth a thousand words you see!
A restless speaker whom I sketched as down in the dump.
Vociferates holding the mike for rightful justice,
As brave as a lion he declared " PEACE " to establish.
Where the burdens of hope is on the horizon,
Where a dime a dozen one may aim and dream.
With such a vision I hold my brush to paint the emotions,
Each smile imbues an ocean of enthusiasm.
The journey of Seneca Falls Selma and Stonewall continues,
The vibrant colours beatifies the expressions.
