WHY DID TOYIN SUDDENLY HATE ABIKESHUGAA?

This is Pelumi Olawumi, popularly known as Abikeshugaa.

The only offense this girl ever committed against Toyin Abraham, according to her Titans, is that Abike attended the movie premiere of Funke Akindele’s Everybody Loves Jenifa in December 2024.

Their anger, they usually claim, is that Abike shouldn’t have attended Funke’s premiere because Toyin featured her in her movie Alakada: Bad and Boujee.

Because of that, these set of unfortunate Titans bully Abike almost every day across all her social media pages, from TikTok to Instagram.
They spread hate, some of them curse her every time she makes a post, all because she attended a movie premiere.

Just think about that for a moment.
A full grown adult wakes up in the morning, opens social media, and their daily assignment is to insult someone who has never offended them personally, never mentioned their name, and never done anything to them all because of a celebrity loyalty contest.

If you're one of those who wake up every day to wish other people bad just because you belong to a fanbase, even when the person has not wronged you, just know this that level of bitterness has nothing to do with loyalty, it has everything to do with the kind of life you are living.

The way some of you wear toxicity in the name of supporting a celebrity is very telling.
Fanbase is supposed to be about support, not bullying innocent people. For many of you, fanbase has become a place where hatred is normalized, insults are encouraged, and bullying is seen as loyalty.

Sometimes it even looks like some of you are not coming from a peaceful place at all, because the amount of anger you pour on strangers every day is not normal.

It almost feels like fanbase is the only place where some people feel powerful, relevant, and noticed.
But the truth remains simple:
Supporting your favorite celebrity should never require hating another human being who did nothing to you.
Bullying someone because she attended a movie premiere is not loyalty.
It is simply toxicity in uniform.

Social media has exposed one very dangerous thing, many people are not actually good people, they just haven’t found a group that supports their wickedness yet.
