ROMANCE: "BANGLE SYMPHONY" BY SOMDATTA MITRA
I can hear the glass bangles making sound ,
Adorning the hands of a new bride .
Her attire , a red Benarasi saree dazzles with golden thread ,
A beauty to behold our tradition and culture 's proud display.
Divinity within, charming glow seizes the heart ,
Rituals to celebrate love's pure art.
Her blushing eyes sparkle like morning dew ,
Sensuousness flows in every gentle hue.
Each time the bangles tjing tjing, her love shines through,
Filling her husband 's heart with dreams , forever true.
With eye contact she cherishes every wink ,
And he gets lost in her loving blink.
An enrapture fleeting like the firefly's light ,
Guiding them through love's tender night.
In slight delay every urge to capture her smile ,
Frame it in his heart 's shutter and then treasure.
In the cosmos of her delirium ,
He finds his forever universe.
Under moonlit shadows , she urges with sweet gestures,
Eager to unite , her heart starts to flow.
In his loving arms , she finds a heaven of real happiness,
Tonight their love will bloom , in all its dew.
Vermilion's fiery dot, her married charm ignites,
Mangalsutra's gentle threads, a love story in eternal rights.
