I'm a Nigerian writer, publisher, and creative writing coach based in the UK. I’m passionate about telling authentic African stories, especially those that explore the lives of modern-day Nigerians navigating love, ambition, and culture. I’ve been writing since I was a child. I was scribbling in notebooks as far back as I can remember, making up stories, and getting excited about anything that involved characters and imagination. But I started writing seriously in 2008 after leaving a career in accounting and finance to pursue my passion. I began with blogging, writing short stories and flash fiction online, and eventually that led to my first romance novel. Romance is such a rich genre. It’s about love, yes, but also about vulnerability, conflict, growth, and identity. I’m drawn to stories that explore what happens when people try to love in complex circumstances.
