ROMANCE LYRIC: "NOURISHING RAIN" BY SHOKO JEY

Let it rain,
Like autumn leaves falling from the tree,
Softly whispering secrets, wild and free,
Let it rain,
Like tears that shade the heart in misery,
Washing away fears, doubts, and pain.

Let it rain,
Like manna from heaven's gate,
Bringing life to the parched earth below,
My love, rain down,
On your green garden, let it bloom and grow.

In the rhythm of the raindrops' beat,
I hear the whispers of our sweet retreat,
The scent of wet earth, the taste of dew,
My love, in this rain, I'm forever true.

The poem uses the imagery of rain as a symbol of renewal, healing, and emotional cleansing. It connects natural rainfall with love, portraying it as something that nurtures growth, washes away pain, and sustains intimacy. Ultimately, the rain becomes a metaphor for devotion and emotional sincerity within a romantic relationship.
