TIWA SAVAGE SPEAKS ON THE POSSIBILITY OF TRUE LOVE
After a painful breakup, I told myself I don’t think I want to date again. Honestly, it broke me. It wasn’t just one heartbreak. It was years of repeated patterns, same story, different body.
Sometimes I worry that when the right person comes, I won’t recognise them. Trauma makes you project. You start guarding your heart so much that you can’t even see genuine love when it shows up.
But I have my son. He gives me joy. He reminds me I’m enough, even without a partner. And for now, that is where my peace comes from.
If love ever comes again, fine. But if it doesn’t, I’m good. Because my heart deserves rest.
