JEREMIAD ON ROMANCE: "HE'S WHAT YOU WANT" BY ABDULRAZAK MUHAMMED
Meek and frolic
He's fluent and gales with words that sparkle
Stoning words from his stuck
like a library buried in the sand
Meet prince charming in person
too elegant to paint on Screen
He would have been the most of princes
Soft and muse
You'll shiver to his beauty
To your heart to continually beat in love bite
Thirsty to his demure acts
Is it the manly voice your heart will drool to?
Or the packed muscles
that convey the diaphanous light to your heart?
Of which a cacophonic sound plays as he walks
Cling to your stand, for you not be diminished by his smile
Now your glum cleft mouths are wide flank
Quivering in excitement
Of the dream to score with him
What an unreal thought I had.

The poet persona tells a woman that a particular man has all she wants. He is learned and handsome. The voice feels shocked that another man is all she wants and not the former.
