EPINIKION: "DETOUR WITH DESTINY" BY OLAALLAH
To the desire I longed for years,
I prayed and wept in silence.
I read and spent both sides of the coin,
Yet it was abortive.
I highly aimed at becoming a NURSE
Diligently walking through the ward
Serving to the heart of humanity
But fate has its way.
I’m not giving up on that dream,
Even when the road I planned
Isn’t the one God cleared.
I thankfully accept and remain hopeful.
My dream did not vanish
Just before getting there,Fate passed through here.
CROSSING THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
It's ORDINARY NATIONAL DIPLOMA.
Hmm
To all eyes see but mouth can't narrate.
The degree might be ORDINARY
But I say — the journey was not.
It’s all grace.
Not in the white gown I imagined
But it’s an end chapter that births another beginning.
This is not failure
It’s a ray that breaks through when the sun finally shines.
