HOPE POEM: "DON'T JUST DREAM, TAKE A STEP" BY SULAIMON KHALID
Dreams are like spark of fire from matches,
without action as gas or kerosene to light it up,
the spark will expire.
Dreams are like Ewédú seeds,
that need you to till the sand before it turns leaf,
without that effort, they'll never be grown.
It's only what you've started,
that you think of finishing,
it's only when you've taken a step,
that you will think of reaching.
Dreams are like foundation,
and without actions as brick and cement,
a foundation isn't worth to be called a building.
Success isn't just having dreams and goals,
but by taking action, and pushing those goals.
Dreams are the vision, normal aspiration,
but can be fulfilled with execution.
The finish line can't be crossed,
while still preparing for the race.
Don't just live life full of dreams,
take a step.
