After reading heartbreak, letter by letter

With pains, and I opened it chapter by chapter

Next is love, it's time to open a new chapter.

After suffering from scars that my dress concealed

Now the ache runs low, almost conquered and healed

Next is love, next is to mount love's caring hill.

I've decided to let go of past hurts in sight

And seal up the past cuts in my rejected heart

To trust again, and ride a new love with my heart.

It's time to forget the past and face today's reality

It's time to face new love and set my heart free

Next is love, next is to enjoy with her, under the mango tree.

I've found a new love, better than the previous one that fell

Better than the one that made me face the wall

Better than the one that left because my hand isn't tall.

The poet persona says love is always the next to go to. No matter the romantic heartbreaks, the heart is always open to love another person again. The voice says a broken person should forget the painful past and give another person the chance to be loved again.
