ROMANCE: "GOT YOU BACK" BY MAURICE N. CHIADZWA

I thought I'd lost you back then
My hope in us had been shaken

I thought love was now a fantacy
And true love was a conspiracy

When you said you didn't want this
And you shuttered all hope of bliss

And made me think we were doomed
Failure and falling I assumed

Then I went off, rode to school
But my heart stayed here with you

Then I got caught up in some things
And the past haunted me with stings

Coming back to you was dipped in vain
And all we had sank and surged in pain

We lost all forms of communication
And between us was a stream of tension

Nothing calls us back than love
So I came back flying as a dove

Then stumbled upon you like a rock
And we began to wander and talk

Then fell into dusts of inevitability
Yeah, dreams came out into reality

To think I had lost you once
And finding you was beyond any chance

I found you again, got you back
And now, my dormant fall is awake
