ROMANTICISM:'IF I WERE MASCULINE' BY AJAKAYE STRIDA
If I were a man,
I would father my wife like she is a baby,
I would kiss out her stress in the kitchen,
I would treat her with so much appreciation,
I would keep her ever glad as a woman,
I would bathe her after she bathes our babies,
when she behaves as a Woman,
I would know that she is a Woman,
when she screams crazily,
I would know she is my daughter.
When she admonishes me in authoritative manners,
I would know my Wife is my Ummuh( Mother)
If I were Masculine,
I would understand my wife so well,
I would not desert her when her nipples sag,
I would wrap her around my back,
like I did at the beach years back,
even with our children,
I would back her.
If I were Masculine...
I would let her feel being a Woman,
I would gladden her as a Wife,
I would assist her as a Mother,
I would caution her as fathers do,
I would ensure all her tears are in joy.
