IF THE CASKET HASN'T COME- BY AJAKAYE AND KWABENA.

AJAKAYE:
To the tired flames,
to the fading smiles,
time is ever righteous,
determination is young till the casket comes knocking,
vegetations and forestry never die,
Oh thy Tired Flames and Fading Smiles,
woods can still be got.

KWABENA CHURCHILL:
To the forging anvils,
to the filming cinemas,
time is always a cast,
perseverance strikes at the ring of circles,
water and fields caress fertility,
Oh Thy Forged anvils and filming cinemas,
springs would still slit.

AJAKAYE:
Stories are ne'er tiny for reality,
lose no dream to the adamant gates of joy,
look elsewhere,
some gates are free and fair as we desire,
hope is a sailor of faith,
your might is what hope needs,
your sparkling burst stays as a potter.

KWABENA CHURCHILL:
Stories ,my papa told me
Songs I heard them play on xylophones,
it was a tale of two rivers,
beats I fawned to free the kiwis feathers,
look here: dreams could also sing
ears might know their best sound,
your  pitch would go far as Chinua Achebe,
your beats would still hit all corners.

AJAKAYE:
Defoe's 1719 is enough for a broken faith,
history tell hope is never bemused,
on the battle of expectation and fire
lives the resurrection of expectation and desire.
We are never threatened,
hope will sneak before three weeping nights.

KWABENA CHURCHILL:
Tumble, is never a theme for the racing tortoise,
history knows its pace,
on the track of rocks and saws
lives the racer who has even run thousand scores,
We are never threatened to halt our race,
hope will soothe our six weeping woods.
