YOUR GRASS IS GREENER _TO_ THE OTHER SIDE- PASTOR GREG ELKAN.

_“Devotion to God is, in fact, a way for people to be very rich, but only if it makes them satisfied with what they have”._ – 1Ti 6:6  (ERV)

The statement, _“The grass is always greener on the other side;”_ goes both ways, even though we generally tend not to see it that way. Given the plentiful shades of green in existence (as we saw previously), the chances that your grass _is_ greener than someone else’s is a statistical given. 

Even beyond the realms of probability, you are – if you decide to be objective – in a better position than a lot of people on Earth. Unbelievable as it may sound, your current state situation – what you have, who you are, where you are, the state of your life – is actually someone else’s desired breakthrough.

You may feel like you have a lot of problems in your life right now; but know for certain that there’re millions of people who wouldn’t mind having your _kind_ of problem right now. This is not to trivialise or dismiss whatever your current travails; but a call for having a proper perspective of life. 

Do not allow the Devil to inflate the magnitude of your problems to the point where they eclipse the goodness of God in your life. Like the classic hymn goes, _“Count your blessings, name them one by one; and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.”_
