'YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE MIRACLE' BY PASTOR GREG ELKAN.
One of the major stumbling blocks to receiving from God is the sense of unworthiness. Whenever a Believer is seeking for a major intervention from God, the Devil can be counted upon to send in thoughts of condemning accusations.
He’ll send in faith-destroying thoughts like: _“Are you holy enough for this miracle?” “Do you think you deserve this miracle?” “What have you done for God that makes you think God will answer your prayers?” “Have you ‘tarried’ enough in the place of prayer?” “This problem is a God punishing you for that your sin of 10 years ago.” “This is a ‘spiritual’ problem; simple prayer will not solve it.”_ Etc.
The accusations come in many forms, but they all have the same goal: to kill your faith and dampen your spirit. Don’t give the Devil that foothold in your heart. Apostle James says _“When you ask for something, don’t have any doubts. A person who has doubts is like a wave that is blown by the wind and tossed by the sea. A person who has doubts shouldn't expect to receive anything from the Lord.”_ (Jas 1:6-7 GW).
You can’t receive from God when your heart is constantly wavering and wondering whether you’ll get the miracle or not. Establish in your heart once and for all that God is on your side, and God is more than willing to bless you. Whenever the Devil comes with His faith-crippling questions, declare Paul’s words in Romans back to him:
_“If, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. ”_ – Rom 5:10
_“Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us”_ – Rom 8:34
_“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”_ – Rom 8:32
Halleluiah! I am qualified for my miracle; because the miracle is not God paying me for my goodness; the miracle is God expressing _His_ goodness to me because of Christ Jesus.
AMEN
