Panegyric ' TREE OF AFRICA '

Oh my Nigeria!
Goddess of Africa,
in chase of rainbows, trooping home of green agriculture.
Paradise of the attractive and omnivorous red eared guenon,
kingdom of Africa 's bush elephant.
Sovereign republic to find Guinea 's gulf,
search the cartouche of papyri,
her Independence great as butterfly of Nymphalidi.

Oh my Nigeria!
Faithful ferrazoles of the sieved northern territory,
sandy soils of uncountable millet and sorghum,
surviving the windy metamorphosis.
How about the cotton soil of South Kaduna?
Her laterite soil solid as brick,
cooking gooses of collapse, flowering walks and roads.
Thirst of African tourist...

Oh my Nigeria!
Uncle Sam 's  Counsel General, Bray made a clean breast,
' If Nigeria waivers, everyone else will waiver. '
For every change of events, one is Nigeria.

Oh my Nigeria!
Before Europeans,
fourteen independent kingdoms on her soil were named Nigeria.
In diversity we stand,
what a mother!
Grabbing next door to six hundred tribes,
Striking ebola till its last occurrence.
Mixing wisdom and freedom
til the largest economy in Africa.

None so old that hopes not for another year,
Nigeria, developing is no disgrace but an assured grace.
We remain an appamage for others to learn.

Tree of Africa is Nigeria,
Lot of Africa,
amending tasks in cold risk for the sake of her sisters.
When other sisters burn as he on hot girdle,
in tebels of discomfort and devaluation,
caering heaven of Nigeria offers refineries,
supplies that other rest their neck.
All through our able individuals, government, most importantly humility.

Hail Nigeria, tree of Africa!
Nigeria, eldest woman of Africa,
the power behind Africa's throne.

Ajakaye Rashidat Olamidayo.

This panegyrical poetic piece speaks that Nigeria is a State others look up to it Africa. The poet personae opens the beauty of Nigeria in soil, development and change of events. Nigeria stands as the soul of Africa.
