Eulogy (Lorette) ' Oh Africa! '
The lyrical of thee is staccato,
as the blacksmith makes a cutlass
with semblance colour,
like a colour in cream of tartar.
Oh Africa! The plate that puts food on your table,
maquillage your rayless shadow.
The spoon in your mouth like tropical kudus.
I know an Africa man,
calling kudus his black bear face cap, making me drop like a rainfall; Shouting kudos...
Oh Africa! You're as an endless adventure,
you made many things with bronze and scriptures.
Oh Africa! The tone rings a ball
and my blood sings in my cell.
Oh Africa!Make great strides,
I love Africa.
Abduwaheed Sofiullahi.
This poet personae of this piece extols the continent, Africa. He hails her with his whole heart, seeing the greatness of Africa a continuous act by everyone which he patriotically forms a wide part in.
