Dicdative ' A PASSING FANCY! '
The more our days increase,
the more our days decrease.
A beginning of the end,
the end of another beginning.
As the clock tickles away,
to signify the passage of time,
myriads of minutes and hours,
a steady journey to the last hour.
Days and nights in regular shifts,
the sun and moon in endless rift,
we near the graves everyday,
an abode where all men shall lay
Days metamorphose into weeks,
weeks into months,
months into years,
a passing fancy that makes us weak.
Men sink deeper into irreversible weakness,
some are belaboured by excessive sickness,
thousands of fasting and prayers from the Deaconess.
cannot save men from an impending death.
Death is the universal reality,
as he visits the rich in mansion.
So does he visit the poor in cottage,
the most dreaded visitor of the society.
Alas, men continue to dine and wine,
pretending like the "Undertaker" is non-existent.
To fellow humans, he continue to whine,
depending on charms that are impotent.
Stray not with the multitude,
remember the terminator of hopes,
prepare for the destroyer of homes.
Always exhibit the right attitude!

This poem has been beautifully written in quatrains to teach it's readers the reality of death. Death is a visitor that turns off a life without being invited.
