SACRED: "BEFORE THE BEGINNING" BY NIEL

The world is full of glory,
The perfection of His majesty,
The soul, an entity without memory,
Splitting away like a star.

In the eyes of the sky
Liveth the Maker;
In the heart of the holy man
Liveth the Breaker.

Where wast Thou
When the beginning was commanded?
Where wast Thou
When the earth was being established?

I told You of the rays;
You showed me the way.
But You were there
From the beginning
Of the year.

The souls He died for,
Why wouldn't He care?
He did,
Even before we were here,
All by His grace.

Hallelujah to His holy name,
The song above and beneath.
Hallowed be Thy name,
Creator and Saviour of all.
