JEREMIAD: "JUSTICE AND FREEDOM" BY OREOLUWA ESTHER ILUSANMI

Oh, to be a girl child in this generation is tiring.
We try to speak, but our voices are silenced.
We try to fight, but the world turns us down.
We, the girl children, fight for our rights,
To make a difference in this world.

We fought, we cried, we laughed, we sighed,
Hoping that the world would become better with time.
We need justice. We need freedom.
We need a world where our voices are heard.

Say no to child marriage.
Say no to gender discrimination.
We need justice as girls.
We deserve freedom without limitation.

We deserve justice, not further affliction.
We deserve equality, not discrimination.
We deserve a future built on education.
We deserve a world free from exploitation.

Let our voices rise. Let our words be heard.
Let justice speak louder than empty words.
Let no girl be silenced, let no girl lose sight,
For we are the girls who will stand for what is right.

We are not voiceless; we have stories to tell.
We deserve a world where every girl can excel.
No more injustice, no more fear,
Let freedom and justice prevail everywhere.

Our dreams are valid, our futures are bright,
We shall keep standing for what is right.
For every girl child, let justice arise,
And let freedom shine beneath every sky.
