ROMANTIC: "I WANT IT ALL" BY MAURICE N CHIADZWA.

She always spoke to me softly
Her facts raised yet her voice spoke lowly
She looked at me blushing away and coyly
I loved it all, I loved that totally
She said "do you know what I want wholly
What would make my heart so jolly
And invincible as Odessy who ate a moly

"I want to give birth to a bouncing baby boy
I want to raise my girl in perfect love and joy
I want to stand with them both proud and coy
I want to buy them every single type of a toy
I want to give them a life they will forever enjoy
A regiment of lovables is all I want to deploy

I don't want them, or you to ever feel starved...
Yes you, you could never be left uninvolved
Because I want you to ever feel loved
I want to make loving you my daily craft
And be loved back, like some two way art

I want a hurricane of love that never dies
That whirls me and keeps me in the skies.
I want to be a lady counted among the wise
A woman who pushes her will to the skies

A woman who has her career in mind
Who makes a difference with her own grind
Who leads and pulls up those left behind

I want to pour on the world, my will
I want to feed and satisfy my zeal.

The love, the family, the career: that life, I want it all!"

The poem "I Want It All" presents the heartfelt dreams and aspirations of a woman who desires a balanced and fulfilling life. Speaking gently and sincerely, she shares her vision of a future built on enduring love, a happy family, and meaningful personal achievements. She longs to become a devoted wife and mother who raises her children with love, provides for their needs, and creates a home filled with joy and security. At the same time, she expresses a deep commitment to maintaining a loving and supportive relationship with her partner.

Beyond family life, the speaker aspires to become a wise, independent, and successful woman with a thriving career. She wants to make a positive impact on society, inspire others, and pursue her ambitions without sacrificing her family. Ultimately, the poem celebrates the possibility of embracing love, family, career, and personal purpose simultaneously, affirming that a fulfilling life is one in which one does not have to choose one dream at the expense of another.
