 Not every empty chair is left by absence;

Some are abandoned by hurried hearts.

We built our homes with bricks and beauty,

Yet forgot the table where love starts.

We mastered the language of achievement,

But misplaced the whisper of belonging.

Hands stayed busy chasing tomorrow,

While souls grew weary, quietly longing.

Love is not measured by gifts unwrapped,

Nor by the wealth our labour can earn.

The richest feast is a listening heart,

Where kindness waits for every return.

A faithful marriage blooms through friendship,

Where laughter outlives every storm.

Two hearts that choose each other daily

Make ordinary moments warm.

The child who feels a parent's presence

Owns a treasure no gold can buy.

A shared meal, a gentle smile, a patient ear—

These teach the heart to soar and fly.

True fellowship heals hidden fractures,

Mends the silence words can't explain.

Gratitude plants enduring gardens,

Where hope will blossom after pain.

The greatest table has room for everyone—

The lonely, the joyful, the weak, the strong.

Its welcome is written in open hearts,

Where every soul discovers it belongs.

So pull a chair for love and mercy;

Choose presence before endless haste.

For a life that honours true intimacy

Leaves a legacy time cannot erase.
