DIDACTIC: "THE LABYRINTH OF EXISTENCE" BY SOMDATTA MITRA

In the vicissitudes of life, amid rejections and dejections,

In the serenity of the wind and the chattering of leaves,

In those fleeting moments of exhilaration,

Lies a phenomenal hidden maze—a sanctuary of confidence.

It catapults the soul into an evocative and resilient personality,

Whose depth and divinity touch every heart.

Where life is never confined to reflecting the transparency of an archetype,

A new soul quietly emerges

Unaware of the tirades that shall soon be swept away by time.

In the mirage where every belief is an illusion,

Where every confidence is an existential battle for identity,

Where no soul can truly fathom another,

Where trust trembles beneath the weight of doubt.

Where minds remain captive ,

to their own psychology and inner upheavals.

Each heart journeys alone through the labyrinth of existence,

Seeking meaning amidst unanswered questions.

Carrying the invisible burden of becoming,

While wrestling with the echoes of its own conscience.

In that easy armchair, can we truly sit in peace and savour our serenity,

While the world is engulfed in war.

And minds linger in a deafening silence,

Failing to realise the urgent need for solidarity?

Is this an age that exalts hatred,

Forging missiles instead of nurturing knowledge?

Or does civilisation still carry the compass of humanity

Through the tempests of hatred?

Relaxation is a paid luxury in a world that taxes peace,

Where hearts never melt beneath the harsh verdict of the anvil of existence.

Always testing patience and resilience,

In every moment, like molten gold refined within the furnace of time.
