FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OKO, MAKES HISTORY WITH UNIZIK DEGREE AFFILIATION.

In a landmark achievement that has brought joy and renewed hope to the entire Polytechnic community, Federal Polytechnic Oko has officially secured affiliation with Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, to run Bachelor's Degree programmes in several disciplines.

This remarkable feat followed the affiliation proposal submitted in February 2026 by the Rector, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, and her management team. After a thorough review and approval by the Senate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed between both institutions.

This historic breakthrough aligns with the Rector's visionary agenda on Academic Re-Invention and Programme Development, opening greater educational opportunities for students and further elevating the academic status of Federal Polytechnic Oko.

The courses approved to run Bachelor's Degree programs in affiliation with Nnamdi Azikiwe University are as follow:...
