DIDACTIC: "THE UNACKNOWLEDGED BENIGNITY" BY SOMDATTA MITRA
Life is a fleeting season, where ethereal happiness is short-lived,
Through fondness, care and love, every emotion sparkles.
In the intrinsic nature of a woman,
Her benignity perhaps remains unacknowledged.
Her sacrifices and caregiving are traits,
that seldom receive concern,
Like a lighthouse standing resilient against relentless storms.
Its steadfast beam illuminating horizons,
that seldom look back.
Her dignity is a pearl resting in the depths of the ocean,
Its radiance seldom noticed by those who admire its beauty.
In a cushion where every comfort is a borrowed feather,
Her caregiving is a foundation seldom given its due credit.
Some among the unfortunates possess a fragile, imprudent heart,
Enduring abuse and neglect as if they were a neglected garden.
Blooming despite the weeds of hatred and the drought of acceptance,
Into a framework of fortitude sculpted by life's adversities.
