ROMANCE: "MY KINDA LADY" BY MAURICE N CHIADZWA

She walked into the room and straight to her chair,
Sat with her legs crossed, a pretty face under that cascading hair
Must have been that striped suit and those tight slacks
Or maybe it’s just that she looks good in black

That was before she spoke, that voice: a rain of lollipops!
Those words, like a desert has been showered by raindrops
God’s finest work of art, backed by ambition
My, My, she is quite the manifestation of sensation

Maybe it’s the way she rocks in her chair and spins its wheels
Or the sound of her steps as she steals away in heels…
Or maybe it’s the long nails when she explains the long game
That just gives my heart a spark of the flame… damn damn.

The way she looks at me over those glasses,
The composure, the gestures, she redefines what class is
She has a flawless way of carrying herself in a conversation
And a smooth art of coming up on top of every discussion

Nothing beats her pretty face and sound mind
She doesn’t make it look easy; she makes it look sexy on her grind
I mean, I’m just busking in the glow of her aura
Yeah, she’s my kinda lady, thought I told ya!
