HYMN: "EID-Ul ADHA 26" BY KARIM MAN DE POET

Today, we sacrifice
More than just an animal
We sacrifice our ego
Our desires, our fears, our doubts

We surrender to the divine
To the unknown, to the unseen
We surrender our will, our control
And embrace the beauty of submission

Just like Ibrahim, we stand
At the precipice of faith
Ready to let go of what's dear
To trust in the unknown, to trust in the divine

Today, we remember
The sacrifice of love
The sacrifice of trust
The sacrifice of surrender

May our hearts be pure
May our intentions be true
May our sacrifices be accepted
And may our faith be renewed

The poem "Eid-Ul Adha 26'" reflects on the spiritual meaning of Eid al-Adha, emphasizing that true sacrifice goes beyond offering an animal. The poet explains that believers must also sacrifice their ego, fears, desires, and personal control in complete submission to God. Through this message, the poem highlights faith, obedience, and spiritual surrender.

Drawing inspiration from Ibrahim, the poem compares the believer’s journey to his willingness to trust and obey the divine command. It celebrates the values of love, trust, and devotion while ending with prayers for purity, sincere intentions, accepted sacrifices, and renewed faith.
