At the Federal Polytechnic Oko, the visionary leadership of the Rector, Chief Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, has ushered in a new era where good governance has become a culture of healthy competition among Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments, all striving to deliver impactful and result-driven leadership.

This positive transformation is evident in the renewed discipline and orderliness among students during examinations, championed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Comr. C. B. Asumogha. The Polytechnic is also witnessing a remarkable digital revolution through the ICT reforms and innovations led by the Director of ICT, Dr. Chiamaogu Amaobi.

Equally commendable is the firm stance against cultism and insecurity within the Polytechnic community under the watch of the Chief Security Officer, Kharki David Abdullahi, alongside the tireless efforts of the Staff Disciplinary Committees, including Dr. Egwuchukwu Ifensor, Dr. Augustina Okeke, Comr. Emma Okoli and other dedicated officers working diligently to curb the menace of sorting and other academic misconduct.

These collective efforts reflect the Rector’s exceptional foresight in assembling one of the most competent and performance-driven governance teams in the history of the institution. Her leadership has inspired a culture where excellence at the top translates into accountability, discipline and progress across the Polytechnic.

Indeed, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie (Nwanyi K’Ibe Ya Global) continues to demonstrate transformative leadership, nurturing a team of committed administrators who are faithfully advancing her vision of tangible development across the campuses of Federal Polytechnic Oko.

Federal Polytechnic Oko is moving forward with renewed purpose and integrity.

As we always affirm in faith: “For what God cannot do does not exist.”
