REFLECTIVE: "MY SILENT WORDS" BY KARIM MAN DE POET
I choose to stay silent,
In a world where emojis hold more meaning than words.
We live in a world where a book is rated by its prologue and epilogue,
Rather than the journey it takes us on.
Silence is golden, or so they say,
But in a world where noise is constant,
It's hard to find peace and quiet.
So I choose to stay silent,
To let my thoughts speak for themselves.
To let my actions do the talking,
And to let my heart guide me.
For in the end, it's not the words we say,
But the things we do that truly matter.

The poem _MY SILENT WORDS_ is a thoughtful reflection on the power of silence in a noisy world. The speaker chooses silence over empty words, critiquing how society often prioritizes surface-level impressions (emojis, book covers) over true meaning. They value actions and inner guidance ("let my heart guide me") over spoken words, concluding that deeds matter more than words. The tone is calm and introspective, urging a focus on substance over show.
