PROSE POEM: "DEAR WRITER" BY MAURICE N CHIADZWA
When you grasp something that inspires you, it leaves an impression.
When you are struck by something that overwhelms you, it becomes a depression.
Being a writer comes with a unique ability to release any idea, feeling, or thought in an artistic way.
That is expression.
The world offers you all kinds of things. As Pablo Picasso once said, “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”
The world will give you both good and bad, that is life.
But whether it impresses you or depresses you, it is still a beautiful experience to create from.
So keep writing.
Good morning.

The piece encourages writers to transform both inspiration and emotional struggle into creative expression. It emphasizes that writing is a powerful gift that allows individuals to release thoughts and feelings artistically, regardless of whether experiences uplift or overwhelm them. Ultimately, it motivates writers to continue creating, seeing both joy and pain as valuable sources of artistic purpose.
