AUTHORS' HUB PRESENTS THE 10TH EDITION OF ITS MONTHLY PANEL DISCUSSION AI AND THE FUTURE OF CREATIVE WRITING

Authors' Hub presents the 10th edition of its monthly panel discussion. Themed _AI and the Future of Creative Writing, the event will take place on 28th February 2026, 4.30 pm - 6 pm, via: https://meet.google.com/vga-hrgc-tza. It features the following distinguished personalities:

Dike Chukwumerije is a poet and socially conscious artist whose work goes beyond performance to challenge polarising narratives and advance ideas essential to a functional sub-Saharan African state. Blending art with civic engagement, he uses poetry as an ideological tool for social cohesion and renewal. He is Creative Director of Simply Poetry Ltd, Executive Director of Simply Poetry Foundation, and Founder of the Dike Chukwumerije Center.

Richard Ali is a lawyer, writer, and cultural entrepreneur whose work cut across literature, publishing, and security policy. He is the author of the novel _City of Memories_ (2012) and the poetry collection _The Anguish and Vigilance of Things_ (2019). A founding member and Managing Editor of Jalada Africa, he also co-founded Parresia Publishers and Konya Shamsrumi, and currently serves as Executive Director of Engaging Borders SRD.

Dr. Kabura Zakama is a poet and development practitioner whose work integrates poetry, publishing, and cultural policy. He is the founder of Kairos Tablets & Scrolls Ltd and a leading voice in contemporary literary advocacy. His current focus explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and creativity, particularly its implications for authorship, language preservation, and the future of African literary production.

Amadou S. Jallow, known as Fantasista, is a Gambian writer committed to amplifying marginalised voices through African storytelling. His work blends personal vulnerability with collective truth, exploring love, war, and belonging as tools for healing and resistance. Published widely across African and global platforms, he is the author of two poetry collections, Sunshine & Rain and Break, with a forthcoming novel, Don’t Touch Her

Ezekiel Fajenyo is an award-winning writer and literary scholar whose career is defined by prolific, cross-genre scholarship and cultural criticism. Based in Lagos, he has authored and edited numerous poetry collections, novels, biographies, and critical studies that document and interrogate Nigerian literature and public life. A respected columnist and public affairs analyst, he been honoured by Abuja ANA for his works, which have significantly shaped literary discourse in Nigeria.

Nasiba Babale, the moderator, is a poet, medical laboratory scientist, and literary curator whose work cuts across creative writing and literary engagements. She is the Creative Director of Poetic Wednesdays Initiative and a well recognised writer, shortlisted for major national and international prizes. A former Ebedi Writers Residency fellow, she has served as a judge and moderator for prominent literary platforms and is the author of The Rain Is Like You_ and _Pickled Moments.
