ROMANCE: "MY LIVING POETRY" BY ZEPHNATH JUDE
With similes and metaphors, she rears
An escapism within me that chases away fears.
Her sugar spitting voice gives me cheers
So sweet; it feels like honey dripping from my ears
Even when I've been deserted by all my peers
In the midst of loneliness, I know she will be here
To cuddle me softly and hold me dear
To give me dainty love that I wonder if I can bear.
The depth of her words tells me her love is true
She is like my queen and I can never betray her rule
She controls my head and drives me into a fool
She has that stubborn kind of love of a mule
She knows when she whispers to me "Zephnath, I love you..."
...that I know that you all already know I love POETRY too.
