I once ended a relationship with a girlfriend as a postgraduate student because she complained I was reading "too much". In my mind, "reading wey I never start?". That was the end of me and fine girl. 

People hardly change later. Most times we are just blind to early signals or hoping for miracle. 

Dear you, truly wife and husband materials are scarce but in scarcity many still enjoy surplus. You just need to be a part first to attract a partner. Many don't even know what part they are so they are not conscious enough about what they want in a partner. Know yourself and invest in yourself; they are non-negotiable conditions for choosing and/or attracting a right partner. As minor as others might call it, I was determined about never dating/marrying a stingy person; a thing many men may not care so much about. It mattered and still matters to me and no one can tell me it's minor. 

But will you have it all in the other person? Of course NO! But know the things you will never take and the things you can deal with.
