HOPE POEM: "HAPPY NEW YEAR" BY SULAIMON KHALID
Another year knocks, and the calendar begins again in January; and it offers us a chance to start again, to build again, to do more, to do better, to rise and reach the top.
Last year gave you storms, bent your back, and brought lessons; but that isn’t all. This is a new year, a new chapter to use what you have learned to live, to achieve.
The past is gone; this is the new year; the present. Embrace it with love, with great determination, for it comes with growth and grace, blessings and greater days ahead.
Without fear, step forward; let your dreams walk boldly as your hands stretch ahead. For the new year carries blank pages, waiting for you to write your wins and end it with thanks.

The poet persona welcomes the new year as a fresh beginning, acknowledges past struggles as lessons, and encourages courage, determination, and hope. Its imagery of blank pages and bold steps effectively frames the year as an opportunity for growth and achievement. Overall, it works well as a motivational New Year piece—clear, warm, and encouraging.
