CHRISTMAS CASH PALLIATIVE SUPPORT 2025: HONOURABLE WURAOLA SALIMATA ADEWALE BRINGS JOY TO WARD G COMMUNITY
In a heartwarming display of generosity and community spirit, Honourable Wuraola Salimata Adewale hosted the "Christmas Cash Palliative Support 2025" event on Monday 22nd December, 2025, at National Bank Estate in Oriade Local Council Development Area, Ward G. The event, aimed at providing cash relief to the community during the festive season, was a resounding success, leaving attendees beaming with delight.
The event, preceded by Honourable Ambros Ahmed, began with an opening prayer led by a pastor, setting the tone for a joyous and uplifting gathering. In her speech, Honourable Wuraola Salimata Adewale expressed gratitude to the community for their support, votes, and prayers during the last Local Government Election. She acknowledged the trust reposed in her and pledged to continue serving the community, highlighting significant strides made in infrastructure development and education by giving out GCE forms to students within her first 100 days in office. "We have made notable progress in infrastructure development, including the installation of solar street lights, clearance of Eta Oko canal, and construction of roads in Moshalasi, Flour Mill Estate, Town Planning, and Mobil Estate which is under construction" she stated. "We have also provided food palliative to over 2,000 beneficiaries, trade support for 100 beneficiaries, and supported 150 aged and widows with cash assistance for a period of three months."
Honourable Wuraola emphasized her commitment to advocating for the community's needs and thanked the Executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Honourable Abdul-Rasaq Olojede, for his unwavering support. She also took a moment to appreciate the collective efforts of the community, acknowledging that the accomplishments were a result of strong collaboration and teamwork. The event's highlight was the distribution of Christmas Cash Palliative Support to attendees, which brought immense joy to the recipients.
