"BEFORE THE YEAR ENDS" BY TREY
I had to pen this down with just a few hours left—
just to show gratitude for the life we lived in 2025.
It has been a year indeed—filled with a million lessons,
a few hearts broken into countless pieces,
and one that brought so much reflection.
With the clock ticking down,
allow me to thank everyone who stood by me—
those who watered me when I was at my lowest,
who gave me hope when everything seemed like chaos.
To the friends who never left,
families who never abandoned me,
and the souls we met simply because of time—
this is for you.
To those who showed love when everything was falling apart—thank you.
Deep gratitude to those who fueled my journey in Christ,
and even to those who made the path difficult.
Those who broke me, yet made my heart softer,
It’s okay. I still grew.
As the year draws to a close,
I ask for forgiveness from those I wronged—
for relationships I failed to uphold,
for dreams I may have crushed,
for being unfaithful, unjust, or unfair.
Not to boast over it, but simply… to let it go.
If you can, find it in your heart to forgive me.
I also thank the Most High—
for forgiving me after a thousand failures.
I, me, and myself—we stand in solidarity and say:
we are grateful.
With hope for what’s to come,
Rest well, 2025.
