BENEFICIARY IDENTITY MANAGEMENT SERVICE- BY MR AYODEJI

OVERVIEW

BIMS serves as a central authentication database,  it provides authorization and identity service for TETFUND.

 

SOME KEY BENEFITS OF THE BIMS PLATFORM. 

1. BIMS uses a unique BIMS ID which can be used by TETFUND to manage and administer various services offered to staff and students of beneficiary institutions. 

2. BIMS provides identity services for TETFUND beneficiaries to access various interventions sponsored by TETFUND. 

3. BIMS offers staff and students of beneficiary institutions access to free mobile data to access educational resources provided by TETFUND. 

4. BIMS gives institution access to manage their staff and students data on the platform.

ACTION REQUIRED OF STAFF MEMBERS.

We noticed that only few staff have activated their account on the BIMS portal.

Kindly note that you are to login with your university email and make sure to change your password immediately (write down your password and keep it safe). Find below the default password for the different categories of users; Students- student 

Teaching staff- teachingstaff 

Non-teaching staff- nonteachingstaff 

Also note that the default password will work for only first time login.
