OKEY ALIYU SPEAKS ON POLYGYNOUS REALITIES FROM REGINA'S DOMESTIC VIOLENCE EXPERIENCE

A video clip of Regina Daniel is trending online and for some reasons, some people believe that it's content, while others believe it's a PR for her up coming video. This is me laughing because this was similar thing that was said during the Dewu dewu saga. Some people even attacked me when I narrated my observations and the experience I had with Dewu's husband during my first meeting with him. Similarly, if you have been observant online, you would have seen some funny handwriting written all over Regina Daniel. Whether skit, content or real event, it's not my business. But, the moment a person comes out to try to convince me that they are actual enjoying their union, I already conclude they are suffering in most cases, especially from someone practicing polygamy. Don't argue because na fact 

Personally; remember, I started with personally. I don't believe there is any peaceful polygamous home in any part of Nigeria, no matter your financial strength, religion, and tribe. The thing is, people involved can only pretend to be living a peaceful and happy life outside, but when they get to their private homes, it's usually a different ball game no matter how hard they try to live peacefully.

Sometime ago, Regina Daniel whom most Nigerians have set out alongside her husband as "the symbol of peaceful polygamy" posted her pictures alongside that of her husband to celebrate their 5th year anniversary and to show how sweet her union has been. Then, from nowhere, her co-wife, a Moroccan also posted her own pictures alongside her husband to mark her 14th wedding anniversary with her husband. While Regina was celebrating her 5th anniversary, she was reminded that someone has spent 14 years with him and so, it's not a big deal. Remember both wives aren't the first.

Previously, I asked how Ned was being praised by most Nigerian women despite being a polygamist but condemn another following same paths, and many of them always come out to bark like Nkịta ọhịa. They always claim Ned is a polygamist in nature, his religion permits him to marry plenty of wives, and he was intentional about it. Yen, yen, and yen.

Firstly, No first wife goes into marriage with the intention of having a co-wife. I said no first wife prays for such. Secondly, so long as Ned didn't marry more than one wife on the day of his first wedding, then he is not polygamous in nature. So far You married only one wife before coming out again to take another wife, then you aren't different from another who tries the same. Lastly, on religion, there are wealthy people who practice the same religion with him, yet they are married to only one wife. So getting more than one wife according to the religion is optional and never a must. That is by the way Sha.

Back to the topic of discussion, there is no way a polygamous home can be peaceful because you can't love 4 wives and more equally. It's not possible. Envy, comparison, and the quest to be the best must definitely arise. Also, remember each party involved will be raising their children with different mindsets. Why must it be "That person when you are the..."? It's only a matter of time before it explodes. Polygamy has consumed lots of homes and is still consuming.

Don't for any reason admire or wish for one even as your last option. Forget what you see online. Forget what people preach to you online. Forget the benefits you are currently seeing. E no dey end well no matter the diamond involved. Ask people who came from polygamous homes. Run away. Most people championing it online are only married to one wife 

In the case of Ned, if he had married a lady within his age bracket, then things might have been different for his polygamous lifestyle. You can't go and marry a small girl who is still starting life as a man who have almost completed your life cycle and expect to enjoy peace. It doesn't work that way. You people's reasoning can never align. While she will do some things and see it as normal, it might be a taboo to your own generation. The problem started from the day an old man went to Marry a girl old to be his daughter as a 4th abi 5th wife 

Also, having parents who do not care about you but what they stand to benefit through you at the detriment of your own happiness was a bigger problem you people didn't see 

If you think this to be a content, then you might be wrong like the case of dewu dewu. When she almost snap the man preek post online, does she looks like someone that cared about anything? Na post to show whosoever care say she dey in charge
