ALHAMDULLILAHI FOR THIS GREAT ISLAMIC SISTER- BY UMM HAYYAAN

Alhamdulillah! Today we celebrate a sister whose journey has silenced stereotypes and shattered barriers. A proud Niqabiyy has just been called to Bar and the world must take note.

She is living proof that the niqaab is not a hindrance but a crown, not an obstacle but an honor. She has shown that modesty and professionalism do not conflict they complement. Her robe speaks law, her niqaab speaks faith, and together they scream success.

To our dear sister, may Allaah fill your career with barakah, justice, and victory. May your steps in this profession remain a sadaqah jariyyah for you in this world and the next. We are proud of you.👍💪

But let’s talk about the hypocrisy.

When it’s a Niqabiyy selling fufu, or being harassed, or mocked you rush to share it. You drop your laugh emojis. You add your sarcastic captions. You love to see her pain go viral.

But when it’s a Niqabiyy excelling, called to Bar, topping her class, breaking grounds, suddenly your repost button disappears. Suddenly your timeline is too full. Suddenly your mouth is shut. SubhaanAllah, your hypocrisy is louder than your silence.

Guess what? Your bitterness doesn’t erase her success. Your envy doesn’t reduce her achievement. Whether you clap or not, she has already won.

A Word of Warning

Be careful. Every time you laugh at a Niqabiyy’s struggle, you write shame against yourself. Every time you withhold applause at her triumph, you expose the envy in your heart.

The One who clothed her in niqaab is the same One raising her in ranks. And the One who sees her achievement sees your mockery too.

So take heed before your hatred of niqaab becomes a testimony against you on the Day when no excuse will stand.

Celebrate her now or stay silent forever but her light will never be dimmed by your shadows.
