HOMOSEXUALITY AS A GLOBAL ISSUE- BY MWAKA ERNESTERICK

Homosexuality is a global issue that's not existentially present but an eternal malignant tissue that's eating up our human social relationships but what irks so deep is our indignation to talk about it.  I do not know why we fear talking about it openly but among the people as I have observed is the stigma associated with it; the homophobia, whether overt or covert.
Myself, I have been reading people and books, holding conversations about it just to know the psychological factors that leads to this sociosexual outlier, the physical contingent determinants, behavioral pattern and linguistic codes or language dynamics among those that ascribe to this sexual disorientation.

Parental upbringing is a major concern. Strict parenthood breeds such sexual disorientations and if for instance boy-child is raised on strict rules forbidding free association with the other gender,  it is likely to align him to gayism. Single parenting, among most of my clients, seems to be a major issue which also affects gender relationships and identity.

Fetishes drawing on dress-codes, body structure and physique is among factors that contribute to these social cancer. In the modern world, the culture of dressing is drastically changing as there exists no clear-cuts in dressing between the gender binary. Today, both dress in cloths that draw concern and excite sexual appetites. Men dress in tight clothes, plait their hair, wear earrings etc. Dick-prints is a fetish and gives fellow men the curiosity to undress another for just libidinal satisfaction. Sexy and sapple thighs, fake eyelashes among others have led to effeminacy and heteronormativity crises.

Handsomeness and beauty: I was reading the story in Genesis where the Lord was about to strike Sodom and Gomorrah. The two men (angels) who sought refuge in Lot's house, it occasioned to me, that they were beautiful beyond Lot's daughters and possibly, any lady in Sodom and Gomorrah. For this reason, men wanted to have them! So it is dangerous to be handsome above everyone else, because you stand the risk of being raped!
Social media or internet influence as explored in "Kichwangomba" , a Swahili novella whose author I can't remember as at now, is another modern factor and our kids are vulnerable to this trap.  The movies they watch, the virtual persons they interact with, can influence them to these condemnable acts. High economic times and unstable economic statuses makes people indulge in sexual practices that are not within the confines of properly defined and accepted sexual practices.

Their language dynamics is quite appalling and sophomoric. Like for instance, the man who plays woman is called "bottom" and the dicker "top". And him who eats both genders is "verse".  They defy normative gender assignments esp the trans and the queer and the + (non-binary, agender, and other outliers).

The behavior pattern and social cues is another thing that took me by surprise. To identify one, dressing code is specific and telling. When a man or woman of interest passes by but have doubts, they make abouturns to inspect the fellow checking on the fundamentals: buttocks (psydony), attractive complementary features etc.
While sexual dysfunction and disorientation is attributed to psychiatric matters brought about by familial dysfunction and social problems, it also is a matter of spiritual defection and problem of heredity.

These sexual practices that deviates from the normal however, have serious physical health and spiritual consequences; spread of STIs, cancerous and separates one from true spiritual communion with God. Bible clearly teaches against homosexuality and is given a grave penalty.
