DIDACTIC: "DIFFERENT SPEAK, DISTINCT SEEK" BY SULAIMON KHALID

When a drunkard speaks,

In zigzag lines,

Old secrets voice out.

When a liar speaks,

Each word turns mirror,

Reflecting lies,

And deceit he disguise.

When a broken heart speaks,

Ache echoes,

In him,

Sorrows and pain hide.

When a drummer speaks

With his stick at hand,

Ears can tell

What he's beating.

When a dreamer speaks,

His words are wings,

Soaring the skies,

Telling there’s hope.

When an honest man speaks,

Like soldiers during parade,

Loyalty stand firm.

When a poet speaks,

Wisdom drop

Like morning rain.

When truth speaks,

Falsehood fades,

Truth stand high,

Like moon at night.

When actions speak,

Real character is shown.

And when I speak,

my silent song will rise—

you will know who I am.
