DO NOT BE DISCOURAGE: WAKE UP- BY GABRIEL WEAH

Now, my beloved brethren,

Let no one stop you from doing what is right. Many people—especially your closest friends, loved ones, and confidants—may stop liking, commenting on, or sharing your posts or work. But it’s not necessarily because they hate you.

Often, it’s because they see the true light in you. And remember—light and darkness are two opposing forces. Where light shines, darkness fades.

Do not suppress your potential because of them. As long as God is pleased with what you’re doing, keep going. These days, many young people stop shining simply because of discouraging words. But beloved, bad mouths will always be there. All you need to do is trust the process and move forward.

Take note of this: when success begins to find its way to you, those same negative voices may be the ones spreading your name beyond borders. Ironically, they become your evangelists. So I ask you—will you abandon your passion, your goals, and your divine mission just because of bad mouths?

If that was your plan, I implore you to reconsider. Ignore them, and trust in the Lord. Even our Lord Jesus Christ had enemies—from His own family, His environment, His country, and even from far beyond. When people envy you, laugh. Take a deep breath. Rejoice, and glorify the Lord. Do you know why? Because the devil doesn’t envy darkness—he envies light.

See yourself as a carrier of destiny and dreams. See yourself, a few years from now, as someone your family, your country, and even the world will look up to and yearn for.

Beloved brethren, a hint to the wise is sufficient. He that has ears, let him hear. On this note, stay blessed and be saved.
