JEREMIAD: "IF I HAD SOMEONE" BY AJAKAYE STRIDA

I am just bored,

if I had someone to give me some attention,

someone to smile, hold and only peck me,

someone to give me time that I demand.

I am just bored,

if I had someone to hold me like his daughter,

someone to understand that I am human,

someone to understand how lonely aspirations can be.

I am just bored,

if I had someone to watch and stop my constant hidden tears,

someone to make me feel better with life,

someone to make the move like I do everytime.

I am just bored,

if I had someone to present me a sincere heart,

someone to give me just a full day,

someone to give me something that I worth.

I am just bored,

if I had someone to put me on a horse, not the sexual bed or cushion,

someone to discuss beautiful topics with,

someone to hold me as a worthy friend of his.

The poet persona wishes she has someone that would love her truly. The voice of the poem longs for a genuine companion. The bard wants to be with someone that would not say she is asking for extremely much.
