HOPE POEM: "YOU HAVE MORE REASONS TO LIVE" BY SULAIMON KHALID

Reason for breathe,

more than just to watch sun rises and falls.

More than just to watch light dances in the sky

and darkness raid.

More than to watch after your bed,

nights and days.

More than to oil your mouth,

every minutes.

You're left to stay and live,

to serve a unique purpose,

not to sleep.

You're a flame,

set ablaze,

to innovate, lighten and keep things alive.

You're not just a drop from the sky,

but a forty days rain,

capable of moving lands.

You're build not for spectator,

but a field man.

You existed for

you're not just a leaf blown by life's wind,

but a tree,

that can control wind.

You're left to breath,

because you have

more reasons to live.

The poet persona says there is enough reason to live than to be worried over life challenges. The voice of the poem says we breathe to be beneficial to ourselves and the society. The speaker says there is not life that is useless.
